Everton are set to rebuild their squad in the summer transfer window.
The Toffees replaced Sean Dyche with David Moyes in mid-January, and that proved to be an excellent decision. The Scottish boss comfortably led them to Premier League survival, with the team finishing in 13th after collecting 48 points from 38 matches.
The Friedkin Group are impressed with Moyes and are set to back him this summer as they make the move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Following are three Bundesliga players they can target in the next transfer window.
Tim Kleindienst (Borussia Monchengladbach)
Everton look in need of reinforcements in attack, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin out of contract this summer. Armando Broja is due back to Chelsea after his loan deal ends, leaving them with just Beto and Youssef Chermiti as centre-forward options.
The Toffees could target Tim Kleindienst who joined Borussia Monchengladbach last summer and went on to have an excellent campaign with the Bundesliga outfit. The 29-year-old netted 16 goals and registered nine assists in 31 league games. Kleindienst boasts plenty of experience, with the German having played for the likes of Gent, SC Freiburg, and Heidenheim.
Merlin Rohl (Freiburg)
Rohl is regarded as one of the most promising young midfielders in the Bundesliga. The 22-year-old has been earning rave reviews with his performances at Freiburg. Given his enormous potential, a move to the Premier League looks to be on the cards for him soon.
Standing at 6ft3, Rohl can play as a central or attacking midfielder as well as a right winger. The German endured an injury-plagued season at Freiburg, but he still made 19 league appearances, averaging 2.6 ball recoveries, 0.8 tackles and 0.3 interceptions per game.
Silas Katompa Mvumpa (VfB Stuttgart)
Everton could be in the market for a forward as they struggled to score goals last season. Silas Katompa Mvumpa, who mainly plays as a right winger, can be a quality acquisition for the Merseyside outfit.
The DR Congo international joined VfB Stuttgart in the summer of 2019. He has scored 35 goals and created 21 assists in 132 total appearances for the Reds. However, the 26-year-old was allowed to join Red Star Belgrade on loan for the 2024-25 campaign, and he played in 24 games for the Serbian side with seven goals to his name.
