Three Serie A players Everton can target this summer

Everton are expected to be very busy in the summer transfer window.

David Moyes made a brilliant impact after returning to Goodison Park in January, guiding them to a 13th place finish to secure Premier League status with ease.

But the Scottish boss now faces a big job to ensure the squad is ready for the 2025-26 season.

The Toffees will look to strengthen their defence and attack, and could raid the Serie A for new additions this summer.

Koni De Winter

Everton could lose Jarrad Branthwaite amid interest from some of the top Premier League clubs. They have previously been linked with Koni De Winter and could reignite their interest in the Belgian if Branthwaite leaves.

De Winter started his career in his homeland with Lierse SK and Zulte Waregem before joining Juventus in 2018. But lack of first-team opportunities saw him loaned out to Empoli and then Genoa, a club which he joined permanently in 2024. Despite injury issues, the talented defender played a pivotal role for Genoa in 2024-25, featuring in 25 Serie A matches and scoring three goals.

Taty Castellanos

Dominic Calvert-Lewin is set to be out of contract this summer, while Armando Broja is due back at Chelsea after the expiry of his loan deal. Everton need to add a quality centre-forward as they struggled to score goals last season.

Taty Castellanos has had a productive season with Lazio as he scored 14 goals and provided eight assists in 40 appearances across all competitions. The Argentina international is at a good age and has played for the likes of New York City and Girona. Castellanos would be a shrewd addition if Everton manage to sign him for a good fee.

Yann Bisseck

Yann Bisseck has seen a massive increase in stocks since joining Inter Milan from Danish side AGF in the summer of 2023. The 24-year-old has established himself as a key player at the San Siro, making 66 appearances and scoring five goals over the last two seasons.

Inter have made it to the 2024-25 Champions League final and Bisseck has played a significant role in their European run, featuring in 12 matches. There is thought to be interest from the Premier League for the Germany international, but it may take an enormous fee to secure a deal for him this summer.
