Everton will look to return to winning ways when they travel down south to take on Brighton & Hove Albion this Saturday.
The Toffees are sitting 10th in the league standings, with two places and three points above their weekend opponents Brighton.
Match Preview
Everton stunned Premier League title contenders Aston Villa by beating them 1-0 at Villa Park, where Unai Emery’s side had won 11 successive matches in all competitions.
Thierno Barry delivered the decisive goal just before the hour mark, pouncing with a quality finish after goalkeeper Emi Martinez made a hash of a routine save from Dwight McNeil’s shot.
However, David Moyes’ men failed to build on that result as they played out a 1-1 draw with Leeds United at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Barry rescued a point for the Toffees by turning Idrissa Gueye’s cross past the goalkeeper after James Justin’s 28th-minute opener.
Everton now turn their attention to Saturday’s away clash at Brighton, who have been enduring a poor run at the moment.
The Seagulls have claimed just one victory in their previous 10 Premier League matches.
They lost 2-1 to Fulham in their most recent league outing after a stunning late comeback saw Samuel Chukwueze and Harry Wilson scoring for the hosts.
