Preview: Everton Women vs Tottenham Hotspur Women – Prediction, Team News, Line-ups

Everton Women will look to claim consecutive WSL wins when they welcome Tottenham Hotspur Women to the Walton Hall Park Football Pitch on Saturday.

The Toffees could secure a top-half finish if they win against Tottenham and also other results go their way.

Match Preview

Everton made a dreadful start to the 2024-25 campaign, as they failed to secure a single victory from their opening seven league matches.

However, they saw improvement in the new year to climb higher up the table.

Brian Sørensen’s team will enter Saturday’s contest on the back of an impressive 2-0 victory over Liverpool last weekend

Katja Snoeijs and Karen Holmgaard scored in either half to put Everton in control, and though Sara Holmgaard saw a red card in the latter stages, they held on to claim maximum points from the away fixture.

The Merseyside outfit will now take on Tottenham, who have endured a hugely disappointing season so far.

The Lilywhites are winless in their previous eight matches in the WSL, with the team currently languishing in 10th place in the standings.

Their most recent defeat came at the hands of Chelsea last Sunday when Catarina Macario scored after 35 minutes that proved decisive in the game.

Team News

Everton face plenty of injury woes this weekend, with Megan Finnigan, Louna Ribadeira, Heather Payne, Inma Gabbaro, Melissa Lawley, Hayley Ladd, Maren Mjelde and Lucy Hope all sidelined with fitness issues.

As for Tottenham, Luana Buhler, Hayley Raso and Kit Graham will be missing on the final day of the season as the trio are currently in the infirmary.
