Everton close to signing Chelsea midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

Everton are on the verge of signing Chelsea midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

According to BBC Sport, the Toffees have agreed a deal worth around £28 million to sign the 26-year-old.

He will now finalise personal terms and undergo a medical ahead of completing his move to Hill the Dickinson Stadium.

Dewsbury-Hall joined Chelsea last summer for a fee around £30m. But he failed to secure a starting spot under Enzo Maresca in 2024-25, making just two Premier League starts.

The West Londoners are looking to sell Dewsbury-Hall as they look to recoup the vast majority of the £30m they paid for him last year.

Everton are also in talks with Southampton over a move for Tyler Dibling

The young winger has been given permission to speak to the Merseyside club, who are discussing a deal worth in excess of £35m.

Dibling is one of the best talents to come out of Southampton’s academy. He is only 19 but has scored four goals in 43 senior total appearances for the Saints.

The south-coast club are ready to sell Dibling in this transfer window but they want a premium fee for their prized asset.

Everton look to be on the right track since the Friedkin Group takeover in December 2024.

They appointed David Moyes in January and that proved to be an excellent decision.

The Scot led them to some impressive results and the team finished 13th in the Premier League table.

The new ownership has been happy with Moyes’ work and they are backing him in the transfer market.

The club have already completed the signings of Theirno Barry and Mark Travers, while Carlos Alcaraz’s loan move has been made permanent after his impressive displays last season.

But they look to make more additions this summer as they aim to make an impressive start to the 2025-26 campaign.
