Everton players who could be in action for their National teams during the March international break

Everton’s fortunes have seen a huge revival in their fortunes since David Moyes returned to Goodison Park as manager in January.

The Toffees played out a 1-1 draw with West Ham United on Saturday to extend their unbeaten Premier League run to nine games.

The Hammers were in a dominant position for victory after Tomas Soucek broke the deadlock with a fine finish on 67 minutes. But Moyes’ men forced the visitors to share the spoils, with Jake O’Brien popping up with an injury-time equaliser.

Everton’s resurgence in form means they are now 17 points above the relegation zone, which is enough to guarantee their survival in the English top-flight.

However, the battle for points has now paused as the March 2025 international break is upon us.

Everton players who have been picked by their National teams

Eight senior Everton players have been called up for international duty by their respective national teams.

Jordan Pickford could be in action for England when they take on Albania in the World Cup qualifiers on Friday night. He could go head-to-head with Armando Broja who has been picked by the Red and Blacks.

Beto and Idrissa Gana Gueye have been called up by Guinea-Bissau and Senegal. The Dromedaries will travel to Liberia to face Sierra Leone before hosting Burkina Faso.

As for Senegal, they are scheduled to face Sudan in an away fixture before a home match with Togo.

Meanwhile, three Everton players have been called up for Nations League games. Jesper LIndstrom will be part of Portugal’s squad as they face Portugal in a quarter-final tie.

Jake O’Brien will represent the Republic of Ireland in the tournament, while Vitalii Mykolenko has been picked by Ukraine.

Jarrad Branthwaite has been named in England U21s squad for their March fixtures with France and Portugal, while Tim Iroegbunam is on the standby list.
